| The lack of consensus on the treatment of atrial fibrillation (sinus rhythm control versus ventricular rate control) at Minsk Polyclinic #36 as well as drug therapy uncertainty created the need for a literature review on the topic. The review concluded that rate control is a more effective and affordable option for the management of atrial fibrillation. Additionally, drug therapy choices of antiarrhythmics (amiodarone) and anticoagulants (warfarin) have been shown to prevent the recurrence of atrial fibrillation. This data is being used to make some drug therapy and rate control adjustments in the management of atrial fibrillation at the polyclinic., 5 pp. | |
